Hey guys, I was wondering how effective is the auto frame-line selector for you m6's? Sometimes when I manually switch from the 50/75 back to the 35/135 frameline, some of the 50/75 still remains.

Whats more, my cv 50mm f1.5 with the 50/75 adaptor seems to bring out a little of the 28/90 frameline as well. Is it common? Mine's a m6 classic 1997/1998 model.

What Roger said is right, but also it depends on the individual lenses (or LTM adapter). My M2 had this problem with multiple 50mm lenses I had. Youxin did CLA and no more problem with 50mm frameline for all lenses except the CV 50/1.5 and 50/75mm CV Type II adapter. The adapter is pushing the lever a bit to much so the 90mm line is showing slightest bit from certain angle like you said. I had no problem with Leitz LTM adapter. Try different adapter of you can.

Well, the previous owner did said it was well underused, and I could tell from the pristine condition of the camera when I bought it. So I gather it's nothing serious and it should be good after exercising the lever more?

I had to have one of my screw-mount adapters shaved a bit by the tech because it pushed the actuator a bit too far and showed an incomplete frameline. Not a big deal to adjust.

Thanks for the replies! Was thinking that it was becoming sticky and stuff too. But just wanted to confirm before I go crazy trying to exercising the lever manually. Cheers
