A new lens from Kobayashi-san?

A wideangle Nokton 1.4 would be really nice. I wouldn't even care much if it was 28, 25/24 or 21 as long as the full bore pics would be useable and price in CV's normal range for such lenses.

Also known as the "Sarah Palin, I can see Russia from my back porch lens."

BTW, do you know which side the US was on in WWII and who we fought? Good. Glad you do. Palin doesn't. McCain would have done better with Michael Palin as his running mate.

How about a 300/64 for landscapes in the US and Canadian west ...

A guy back in California told me he found a 16/20 - quite a smoking lens, but a bit slow.

Ok...what we have is a 7-365mm "click" style zoom for M Leica's, It is has 24 elements....a single F stop... F12 So it's hand holdable. But it's the viewfinder that's the kicker. The camera mounts to "it"...full zoom, needs D batteries to operate. Yeah that's the only lens you'll ever need..batteries not included.

Very good, Roger!

I usually try to pull off things like that around the house, but my wife and daughter roll their eyes, and my daughter says I need new material...

With best regards.

Stephen

BTW: I really like your books and website, meaning both you and Frances. If you two didn't exist, you'd need to be invented!:D

Kobayashi-san can't do everything. Some things only Leica can do.

Like the Leica M-16. It may not take the best picture of its subject, but it's guaranteed to take the last.
