Om E-P2 and the VF-2 live-finder

Any experience with the VF. Brightness, speed, accuracy?

How does it compare to a Zeiss Ikon or other RF?

That's a matter of preference as one is EVF and the other is optical. It also depends if you are using manual focus adapted lenses on the EP2 or autofocus lenses. In any case the viewfinder will 'gain' up in low light, something an optical VF cannot do. I find it's much easier to use in low light than any optical VF.

Others may decry this but it works for me. 🙂

I just got mine today, and I find this EVF to be really excellent. I was quite surprised at the quality in low light--I'm sure I'll be utterly poleaxed when I try it out in daylight. I think it may be a little clearer than the G1 version...at least in my G1, the display seemed a little bendy or something--it didn't appear perfectly flat and clear. This one does.

I am also really impressed with the stabilization on the E-P2, and find it to be a really handsome camera as well. My low light experiences suggest the inferior autofocus is overstated.

The Pen EVF is very usable. 90 degree rotation is very handy. Some noise visible but expected in low light. It works great for me.

Quite good... tilted up 90 degrees allows me to cradle the camera and peer down into it... then along with the IS, i can shoot at some pretty low speeds.

Agreed - large, bright, easy for eye-glass users. The low light performance is very good, if a little noisy. It is usually possible to focus manual lenses without magnifying the view.
