Rolleiflex + Quick Release Plate Question

Hello,

Does anyone / has anyone used the Quick Release Plate with the flash bracket?

I'd like to be able to pop it off so that I change film quicker, but I'm wondering how secure it would be / if it would fit toghether.

I'll try to answer. The quick release plate is a little less than 3/4" thick. If the bracket has that much clearance, you should be fine. My quick release plate has a 3/8" screw diameter for attaching to the tripod, so I have an adapter bushing to take the screw diameter from 3/8" to 1/4". When attached to the tripod, there is a tendency for the plate to rotate around the tripod mount screw, because the 3/8" to 1/4" adapter bushing is not solidly in place (I suppose I could use some type of glue to make it permanent, but haven't done that.) I'm sure you can come up with some means of keeping the quick release plate in line with the bracket, so that it doesn't easily rotate.
