Hello all! well I have just got the prints and negatives back from the lab and here are the results. I shot this using my Leica M6ttl with a 40mm Nokton and a 90mm Elmarit. The film used was fujifilm pro 400H exposed at 200asa. I was the second shooter so there is a lack of bridal shots but I have admit that it was most enjoyable not having to lug around a large DSLR lens and body...long live rangefinder photography and long live film!
This was my only second wedding but I'm aiming to do a few more and get some more practice!

Oh. I'm a little bit disappointed now. From the title I thought you married a Leica.
But the photos look good.

Nice people!.. Good and simple photos... A little smelly Jeff style, but it's first your experience thought... Good luck with gaining your own style!..

Jeff style? what you talkin about willis? haha this is how I take photos...If anything I take my inspirations from Jose Villa and Leah McCormick. If I share a similar style with someone I guess we chalk that up convergent evolution!

Gosh those are just wonderful!
Absolutely loved every one. Not that I'm getting married, engaged or even in a relationship -- but that's the kind of wedding photos I would like to have.
They must be really really pleased!

Thank you Juan...I really enjoyed taking them. Funny thing was I always used to cringe at the idea of wedding photography but I have decided that it might be viable way to make some money...now if only i had some business sense haha

Very nicely done EcoLeica - I'm sure they were very happy with your photos. If you're doing it for money, make sure you always have a backup of everything (bodies, lenses, strobes). At least with Leica gear that won't mean a trip to the chiropractor afterwards!

I have my FE2 kit as my backup at the moment but a bessa body might be nice...if i had the money...haha its rough being a student and lusting after leica gear haha. Also I have a rolleicord Vb and holga if they want any formal portraits done.
There was another shooter there with his multiple camera bodies, long lens, sand strobe flashing off every 5 seconds I had to admit he looked rather tired after lugging all that gear around...as for the chiropractor...I prefer science based medicine haha
thank you all for all the lovely comments...really perks a guy up

Your set of photos are great and I really like most of the compositions.
Just in case you didn't notice yet, you blog is linking in images from Flickr and resizing them for display (for example an image with a height of 340 pixels is being enlarged in browser to a height="434"). I see various artifacts as a result of this resizing, such as aliasing along straight lines. That's not a good thing.
Thanks for sharing your refreshing work!

Beautiful work! Congrats! You've got a nice eye for detail, and I'm sure the couple is pleased w/ the results. Out of curiosity, what lens(es) did you use the most? I shot my first wedding last October, and used (mainly) an R3A w/ a Rokkor-M 40/2, and an MD Rokkor 85/2 on an X700.
BTW, there's another RFF member (Riccis) who is also an accomplished wedding photographer and uses Leicas. He doesn't post a lot here, but has an interesting blog:
