HI , I have a chance to buy an R2A at a pretty good price. I wear glasses, not very thick.........
Ive done a rff search and there are a multitude of opinions and thoughts but I need to know for sure......

....I use a 35mm lens a lot....will I be able to see the 35mm framelines ok?

"Definitive" answer would be for you to try it since your prescription is likely to be different from mine. But, I wear glasses for far-sightedness and astigmatism and the are fairly thick and I can see the 35 frame lines of my R2a pretty well; I can see three(top, bottom, and one side) of 'em with out moving my eye and the fourth requires me to shift my eye a very small amount.
By way of comparison: with the Canon P, a camera that I loved other wise, I couldn't see any of the 35 lines with out moving enough that I would lose the RF patch.

you should just be able to see the 35mm framelines, but not much space will be around it (only annoying at infinity).

The 35mm lines are quite wide in the VF, and it's a little hard to see both (left and right) at the same time with glasses on, and just a little easier with my glasses off.

Like Rob Biemer above I have to do the eye shift maneuver to see all of the lines.
