Newly Acquired Konica III

I have just acquired a Konica III which was made in 1956. I owned this camera in 1956 and learned photography with it.It was a very reliable and easy to use 35MM.It brought back good memories when I held it again.

Great find. I still have mine that was my first real camera my father got used when I was in Jr. High. Another member Raid has had a few of this era Konica and liked them a lot.

I shot a lot with mine till it was replaced by my Nikkormat FTn (I still have her too). My love for that III brought me back to RFs many years after.

Would you believe I still have photos taken in 1956-1957 in my old photo album taken with the Konica III.

I find the III to be an excellent camera. The lenses of the I, II, III, IIIM, and the IIIA are excellent.
