Rolleiflex w/ Plate Adapters

I have recently known that there exist adapters for using plates with Rollei's TLRs. You just detach the back cover and replace it with one back prepared for taking Rollei's holders (don't know if it will accept others, doubt it).

My questions are, are there different versions of these adapters? does anyone actually have used them? which cameras would accept this adapter? I already own a K4C model but, since I haven't figured out how to remove the back cover, I guess mine is not compatible.

Any thoughts welcome!

I think there are different versions, including plate backs with a pressure plate - so that you could put roll film in the plate back for your roll film camera, just to come full circle.

What do you want to use it for? You'd have to get 6.5x9cm sheet film and you have to get holders without light leaks.

About the versions, so I thought...

Mostly, I'm interested in trying out LF. I have very recently acquired two 6.5x9 Patent Etui I am using with the 6x9 Rollex adapter and searching for an Avus 9x12. But, mainly because I have still a lot to learn, haven't tried it with plates.

However, I was mostly wondering about the options and quality for this set. Not that I am particularly interested in it, just wondering if it may be worth it.
