Leica LTM What's in your Leica LTM junk box?

In my box of bits, the detritus of years of Leica ownership, amongst the ELIDAs, there are two particular items.

One is a collapsible Summicron no hoper. Cloudy, rim bent, barrel ruined, cross threaded optical units etc. The elements may not be too bad (front element seems OK) and the mount is serviceable.

The other is a red scale Elmar with a missing front retaining ring and a chip in the front element so big you can hang by it.

On the assumtion that others have a junk box like mine (with different ingredients) I'm after swapping the Summicron for a coated front element for an Elmar and the relevant retaining ring

Long shot I know but someone out there just might have something?

In your shoes I'd ask Malcolm Taylor what he can do. He's worked miracles on a couple of my lenses...

I second this. Malcolm literally has drawers full of Summicrons, Elmars, Summars etc. and all the parts for them. More than likely he would be able to sort you out with what you need.
