Drums Along The Hudson with J-9

I attended the 8th Annual Drums Along the Hudson, Native Americans Festival last Sunday in Inwood Park, NYC.

I tried my Jupiter-9 85mm f2 lens on my recently acquired Leica M2. Film was Fujicolor Superia 200. Here are some results from CVS CD:

Nice photos. J-9 looks good, you didnt shoot any wide open, did you? Oh - where are all the Native Americans - I see all sorts of Americans, but native ones. ;)
 
wow..the colors just explode on my screen! great shots! i love the first one with all the detail in his outfit.

I shot at around f4- 5.6, they are moving around to fast I didn't want too miss focus.
We are already a mix of different races.

I'm happy how the J-9 performed considering this lens was a mess when I first got it. Fedka.com did a great job cleaning and adjusting it.

"They" don't always look the way "they" look in the movies....
