Konica Electron battery solutions. Please help!

Hi,

I have an absolutely mint Konica Electron, but I cannot get the darn this to work. I really want to use it. I was made to compete with the Yashica G-series cameras.

The Electron takes the old 5.6v PX32 mercury battery, I tried the same solution I did not my Yashica GSN (1 LR44 battery on top of a CR123 battery). I have no luck. Anyone got any ideas? I hope so.

Are you sure it will work if you fit the correct battery, is there some test you can do?

In my GSN i have one 4LR44 wrapped in cardboard and lots of tinfoil from a Swiss chocolate bar taking up the rest of the space, it works great.

Have you checked all the contacts?

I checked and cleaned the contacts. I tried inserting the positive side up and down. I wonder if there is something wrong, but I do know.

Might be best to have an expert look at it then if it's broken he can fix it 🙂
