Some time ago I posted a topic about my 50mm planar ZM. It looked like the focus was off at longer distance.
I returned to the shop and we did some test there but could not find any problems with the lens. Also tried other 50 planars with the same results.
I decided to switch the 50 planar for the 50 summarit.
Shooting mainly at shorter distances I really like the summarit. The focus is compared to the planar really smooth.
But took some shots today of a long distance, and the are all really clearly out of focus. Again....
So I took the camera tonight and focused on a building in the area. I am not able to align the rangefinder to the building at the far end. If I turn the focus to the far end, the pipes at the roof of the building in front are (acoording to the rangefinder) in focus.
However, when I look at the picture, the building is in focus. (see picture of 50mm summarit)
I also took the shot with the 35 nokton classic and the 28 biogon.
Both lenses turned to the far end of the focus. With the pipes in focus according to the rangefinder
With the nokton its hard to tell what is in focus, looks all the same, with the biogon the pipes are in focus.
So the only lens with the problem is the 50mm...
So I tried 3 different 50mm lenses and all have the same problem where my 28mm and 35mm are just fine!
Is it normal that its not possible to align the focus to things in the far distance?
Can this be a problem with the rangefinder? Or is it something else?
The change I got 3 broken 50mm's is quite small I think.
And, can this be fixed, and at what costs?
Here the three pictures, If you click on them you go to the website with the big picture, better click the links below!

I think your RF is misaligned and it shows for the 50 most since the DOF is shortest. I would align it (with an allen wrench?) for the 50 at infinity, with the moon or a star. The other lenses (at least the 28/2.8) should be OK, even if the RF "overshoots" a bit.

Okey, clear. Thanks!
Is there also a online tutorial on how to ajust the rangefinder yourself with an allen wrench?
Is it the small knob on top of the camera (in the hot shoe?)
I also contacted a repair shop, they ask 75 euro (ex tax) for the camera and 50 euro for each lens. So with the 18mm that will be an extra 330 euro..... Ouch!
