Le Mans 24h | Leica M8.2 | 35 | 90 | 135 |

Wow nice, I think this is one of those great races for photographers. There are just so many opportunities . Nice work

Absolutely!

It is photographers heaven with fantastic racing and many friendly people as well.

Great pictures! I am a long time fan of motorsports and never could imagine how a rf (well, not the camera but the photographer) can make a job like this one. Thumbs up!

PD: Never was in LeMans race, but it's an event i would like to live at least once in my life

Never thought i'd enjoy looking at car shots!
Such good photo's.

Thank you - that is one nice compliment ;-)

great shots. thank you for sharing this.

Thanks a lot - will share more, once sorting and processing is done ;-)

Thank your for the nice compliment ;-)
It is easier, than one thinks - just experiment!

Oh and you are a lot less far away from Le Mans than me at the moment - give yourself a treat and go there next year!
It is a must for anyone, loving racing and cars!

So good...someone covered a real race here! Like the participants in the race, knowing how to use use the tools at hand (and great tools at that) made the difference.

Your excellent photos are one in eye too all those who slagged off the M8/8.2. I `ve been seriously tempted too buy a D300s, but after seeing your fantastic effort,I am going too rethink the whole idea. Your photos remind me of an exhibition Mercedes Benz had at the Sydney Motor Show some years ago, of pre-war GP races, all shot with the then current Leicas and lenses. So much for super zooms and turbo charged motor drives.

Thanks Barrett - too nice a compliment ;-)

You need to love, what you shoot - I hope, someone can see the love in the frames.

Don't judge to quick ;-)
I had a D300 (which I sold, to buy more Leica glass).
The D300 / s is a very, very versatile camera, paired with the right lenses an easier tool for motor sports (and more reach at that with the excellent tele lenses).

I just used the Leica M, 'cause it really can be used intuitively ;-)
