My Lynx 14E arrived ...

u4/3rds forum...Raid. I'll post some shots there.

I have a long list of RF lens projects before I get to a u4/3rds project.

I like, I like it!
I just mean if body of digital Pen isn't too small and light for huge lens? Even metal body of original camera is on border - be it smaller and lighter, it would jump out of hands even more than it happens with film Lynx 14 (unfortunately).
It is not a problem for me, I always hold the lens in my left hand, (you know this is manual lens).
This lens also bigger and heavier than other lenses, but compare with my Canon SM 50mm 0.95, that is a little bit smaller and lighter.
E-P1 has 12.5 oz and Yashinon DX 45mm F1.4 after I modified has 12.8 oz total 35.3 oz, Yashca Lynx 14 has 30 oz, very close. :p

Jackslai, I thought you Photoshopped this as a gag. Damn! You really did it! I don't think Dr. Frankenstein could have pulled that one off. Your Flickr set looks great.

The shutter is build in to this lens - it's a leaf shutter. How's that work on this camera?
Thank you for the comment.
I took out the leaf shutter and keep the diaphragm.

Thanks for drilling down on weights!

All in all, this is best DIY stuff I've seen lately. While I'm suspicious about all-digital route, even knowing new lenses are good and very good - such setup is somehow bridging gear I know and like with upcoming future.
