The best camera is one that still works!
One of the things I hate about change bags is the way they just flop all over your hands ... you can get tents which are more expensive but far superior I'd imagine!

My bag is more than 30 inches wide; plenty o' room but sweaty.
Kentmere is $3 per roll of 24 vs. $5.50 for a roll Tri-X at the only store where I can buy Tri-X, Fuji black and white film inv cluding Kentmere. I think I will order some LegacyPro if I do not like what I see on my last three rolls of Kentmere.
Remember, I also have to wind on film despite significant loss of feeling in my finger tips, and tremors made worse by the adrenaline of the moment. The bathroom will get the next roll, maybe tonight ... 🙂

Did the bathroom thing. A roll of Kentmere is on a reel and getting a 5-minute distilled water pre-soak. Went right on after I pushed the front end to the little ball bearings. I hope I can post scans tomorrow ... 🙂

The effort yielded a roll of beautiful, full-toned negatives. I hope you guys do not mind I shot 'em with a Pentax SP1000. It is my solid, go-to, know-what-it-is-doing camera now that the Bessa R is gone. I had confidence it would what it is supposed so I will know that any negatives foukl-ups were mine.
I have a 36-exposure roll of Portra shot with my Yashica Lynx 14 E. That roll will get pro-lab processing tomorrow or Tuesday. If it did as well as I think, it will be a go-to camera. My other go-to is a Fujica ST605. The Spottie and ST both think they are rangefinders. I am very close to calling the FED-2d a go-to ...
