My Gripe About Classifieds

I'm OK w/ looking at fleabay to ck prices, as they tend to be accurate (understanding that everything cycles up and down for no apparent reasons). You can download a free little program called Cute PDF Writer that allows you to save anything on the web as a PDF, photos included, so you can save the ads that interest you. I usually save my For Sale ads just in case anything comes up after the sale, since I'm one of those people that deletes their ad once it sells. The software is wonderful for saving online camera manuals and repair info too. I stick all the related stuff into a folder and don't have to scroll thru 100's of bookmarks anymore.
 
I think a lot of member here forget that the prices in the listing may not reflect the amount paid. My guess is a good portion of transactions here are negotiated unless the seller clearly states otherwise. FWIW, all but one of my purchases here and elsewhere have been negotiated. Just my 2 pesos.

And to be able to make any estimation of what that amount may be we need history!

As someone said there's always the eBay function to go to I guess!

At the current rate they're having to recall cars I'm dubious! 😀

I read that 300,000 Lexus's (Lexi?) are next in the failure chain! 😱
 
I should have used the "smirk" face-thing.

"Past Performance Does Not Guarantee Future Gains."

These are words to live by. (I think I remember hearing these words when spoken by a former member here who alleged to have have investment know-how.)

The Lexi appear to already be in the failure chain; they are not yet in the litigation chain. THAT will be a show to see!
