I will be in Istanbul in October and am thinking of picking up a Voigtlander 15mm for the trip. Came in handy I can assume?

The 15 is nice... It's a good idea to use it and see its "volumes" results before the trip...

Sometimes it was hard to fill the shot with 15mm as it is really wide but there are times it is priceless!

It more or less would be used for interior shots of palaces and mosques in Istanbul with ASA 400 film.

It is not beach it is salt lake and everything is covered with salt crust with 2-5cm water

I thought 'salt', but then the water made me think 'beach'. I imagine that lens may be difficult to use well but you seem to have mastered it. Thanks for posting, those 2 salt pictures are spectacular.
