Leica LTM Leica II Digital

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
I had not even a thought of doing that to such a nice camera. Sure, if the insides were messed up beyond repair, ok.

....maybe I'll look for a broken down M3...

That "Luftwaffe Eigentum" legend (in this lettering and on that body location) is the absolute guarantee that the camera is a Leica fake, don't you think?

yes quite probably, if it was a real thing, it would have NOT been used for this PowerShot-Barnack job ;)

Someone should interpret the instructions and post them..

I have an old non-working Fed I I'd like to give it a try with...

I saw this a while ago and really loved the idea. I would love to have a cam like this but unfortunately....I am all thumbs.

what's up with that guy's gloves? anyone speak japanese? cannabilizing a zorki is one thing (sorry FSU fans), but a real leica? wow. and, what about those lenses he attaches to this thing? this guy is a good engineer and a complete wackjob, isn't he? and, judging from how he trains that long telephoto on the building across the street, he would appear to be a bit of a peeping tom, too. no wonder, he's wearing gloves.
Did anybody notice this one?

This is a real Leica IIIa

Not to mention the nazi uniform and Luger in the instructions that go with the first video

This is a Zorki, not a Leica. He states as such in the directions. I can't interpret them but that part is mentioned in English. The display with the swastika, etc. is a bit over the edge though.

The link I posted is a real Leica IIIa not a fake...

Here's the link to an authentic Leica IIIa that underwent the same treatment AND the guy who did the work shows his peeping tom technique in this video, too. a great bonus for the budding voyeur. check out his use of a long telephoto on his new/old digital LTM....

in this case, one would hope that the donor body was clapped out beyond repair, otherwise it would be sin to have destroyed a perfectly usable body.
