The s90 in Hawaii (Kauai)

Great set of photos, I just got back from Oahu, maybe Kauai will be next.

great photos, and congratulations! We also got married in Oahu, then vacationed in Kauai way back when.

I have a question, in some of the images there is noticeable distortion, were these at the extremes of the zoom range, or is it present throughout? Other than that, most of the images are excellent, near perfect.

I love the quality of the color on the first photo. Is it manipulated much or was it the lighting/camera?

It has a very warm, film like feel to it.

it was shot using a sunny wb setting so it was very cool in the original, so i added a little warming filter in ps but that's it. i think i overdid it a little bit, but i'm glad you liked it.

more at the wide end of things. i know the camera does a significant amount of processing the photo to make it looks as un-distorted as possible. i don't mind it so much. i don't spend a lot of time processing photos these days.
