This "Elvis" was produced by some local high school science kids, starting with an obviously female mannequin. SP1000, Super-Takumar 55/2. Ferrania 100, drugstore processing, scanning.

Now I really need to find my Elvis pictures.

I saw one of his last Concerts at the Capital Center in Maryland. Waited in line 8 hours to get the tickets, took my GF and her Mom to it.

My only Elvis memory is talking to his personal physician the night Elvis died. One of the backup Jordanaires lived in Decatur, Alabama, where I was city editor at the time. He gave me the doc's Memphis phone number, and some quotes about the king for our own local sidebar to the national wire service story. The doc offered a few bromides as well. In retrospect, I must say it was remarkable that the doc answered his phone on such a manic evening as word of Elvis' death got out ...
