Hey!
I'm going to San Fransisco in a few weeks, and I saw some really cool photos of Oakland's 16th Street Station. I've heard that it is possible to contact the caretaker if you want to be let in. I'm wondering if anyone has done this, and if so, can you still gain entry?
Thanks!!

Hi S-A;
I would contact "The Port of Oakland" and or "The City of Oakland Redevelopment Agency" See if you can get a guide to take you through the site. It would help if you were credentialed as a photographer.
good luck with your photos. p.

I would be very cautious with what gear you make visible.

It's probably too late now, but looking at the gear in your signature, I can't imagine hauling out a Kiev would pose a problem. It's clearly an old camera.
