I've seen two shots taken with that film that, colour-wise, rank in my eye with the best taken with any other colour film. It's not a versatile all-round sort of film, but in its element—eg, north window diffuse lighting—it'll deliver wonderful colours.
It's the Agfa film I miss the most.
Is there a comparable film currently available? Has it in fact been resurrected by another manufacturer (as have been the APX films)?

Portra is made by Kodak, and is still very much in production. There was an Agfa Portrait 160 film - probably that is what you mean ?

Thanks, Martin, that's exactly what I mean.

I don't think you'll find anything comparable to the Agfa color line these days. That and their Pro slide films are quite missed here. Some of the most beautiful color I've ever seen in the summer woods- the Agfa Pro 200 slide film through the Nikkor Ai 28/2.0. I should dig up some of that old stuff one of these days now that I've got a film scanner...

Do you mean Agfa Portait 160? I love the muted colors it gives, especially for autumn outdoor shots.
