It was a small festival (named Kontufolk), only about 370 people per day (two days) and the intimicy was amazing. I loved the experience and the mood was over the moon. All shots in gallery from there, not many from bands but mostly atmosphere and over all feel of the place. Also all the shots from balloons were a paid job so they had to be taken
It was an interactive installation from art group Filter and as producer I had to photograph it in action.

Good pictures, I like the one on the top on the right side because of the strong blue. It seems a simple interesting festival and it would have benn nice having taken part...

Thanks for kind words and yes the festival was amazing. I'm not a festival goer, I simply don't enjoy the crowds and the noise. But this was amazing experience, small, intimate, personal. You felt like you knew everyone. And of course the music was great and the place was nice (calm and beautiful).
Also shooting with E-P2 was a treat, I've used it in many occasions (including a wedding as third camera) but here I didn't carry anything else and it was a joy. Also the quality is up there with the big dogs if you don't push print sizes to the limits.

Nice pictures. Did you catch Tuomari Nurmio? I think he's outstanding.

Yes I did but didn't manage to get good shots of him (mainly lack of motivation to shoot bands and performers). I've never been a fan but always enjoyed live shows

I recently took some shots at a state fair and found the E-P2's hinged EVF a real plus in shooting candid pictures of people from a low position. With my head aimed down to look through the eyepiece instead of staight on to the subject, there is less chance that they would feel self conscious during the shot.

Managed to find one half decent shot of him
As you can see, bit noisy shot thanks to high iso and bad exposure (stage lights and snap shots don't go together nicely). As said, my motivation was elsewhere then the stage

Well I tend to be more up front with the people I photograph, but I understand your point there. I feel the same way when I walk around with Yashica-Mat (even if it tends to get bit attention). Besides the E-P2 looks less intimidating then bigger DSLR:s anyway so in my experience the targets (talking about people about to get photographed) don't tend to be noticing it.

Nice! I've only seen him live once, in Kaivopuisto in 1980 or 1981...
