I like Reala. I also shoot a fair bit of Portra 160 & 400 (both VC and NC), Fuji Pro 400H and sometimes Portra 800. But I often also shoot Kodak Gold 100 or Gold 200 - often with the intention to convert to B&W as I quite like the results.

My favourite colour neg film of all time was Agfa Ultra - just sensational colours, without being ridiculous.

Of the currently available films, I like the 160 Portras, and I also like Reala, although I think that has now been discontinued, sadly.

Right now my favorite is expired Ektar 25 for those sunny summer days in Texas. I could never get on with Ektar 100.

Cheap expired Portra 160, 400 and 800 for everything else.

All I use is Fuji Reala, I don't think it's discontinued. My local camera shop would have told me since that's all I ever get when I go there.

I've been a bit all over the place since Kodak discontinued Kodachrome but I have finally started to settle:

Portraits : Portra NC or Fuji Pro 400H/800Z
General Landscape / Documentary : Ektar 100 or Reala 100

My favorite is Reala and went to B and H on Sunday to pick some up for an upcoming trip. They had none and said its been discontinued.
A quick online search confirmed the worse.
I called Adorama and they had plenty, just came back with 10 rolls and the bin was still full.

I voted "Other" because I don't really like any color negative film. I just never got the hang of it, and now that there is digital, I use it for *most* of my color work. So to claim any film as a favorite would be misleading.

But when I DO use C41 color film, I dislike Portra the least. NC for indoors or otherwise under controlled lighting. And VC outdoors in the sun - instant beachball feel to it.

I don't shoot much color, film or digital, but my first experiences with a few rolls of Portra may see me shooting more color. I just loved Portra NC. The VC I found too color saturated for anything but really particular subjects. I am going to abandon Fuji Superia entirely even though Porta costs a lot more. I have found I can make a bit back in processing costs though. I had been taking my better films to a specialty lab. Then I tried Wal Mart, at less than half the cost. I can't tell the difference in processing.
