I've had it about a week and I really like it though the 2x crop is a little rough. Takes great pictures though. I've been using all my Leica lenses and I'm quite happy with the results. Here it is with one of my favorite lenses a 1934 Hektor 73/1.9(w/Summitar hood..stays put better than original). The images below are examples of it wide open. The lens is not for all lighting conditions wide open but, if you pick them right and like a bit of a dreamy look then this will do it wide open. Close it up to 3.2 and it sharpens quite a bit.

24mm OVF from Dlux4 works rather well with the 12mm

Nice combo, J8 and GF1. Once you get past 20mm on MFT cameras OOF areas look pretty nice wide open.

Here is my configuration:
Olympus PEN E-P3 + VF-2 + Voigtländer Nokton Classic 35mmF1.4 with hood + Novoflex adapter ring
And here is one sample shot done yesterday in the restaurant:
I chose Novoflex adapter ring, because is remains round and does not interfere with my fingers, as I thought the Cosina one would do.
The picture above is taken in Aperture priority mode - not full manual mode - without viewfinder (not received at the time).
