You could get a modern CV in Contax mount then add an Amedeo adapter to LTM.

I thought the most wanted was the f/2 one... (Or the best one, I mean...)

Both of you are correct.
The 35/2 is like a Planar and is superior optically to the 35/1.5. The 35/1.5 is unique and it has special characteristics which make it a specialty lens. It is also uncommon.

Ok, that is an interesting idea, but I did not know CV makes their 35/1.4 in contax/nikon mount. I dont think I've seen that, but I could be wrong.

I am not sure either, but it is a thought.

Raid's wrong. Cosina only made a 35/2.5 in SC-mount. But it doesn't fit on an Amadeo adapter anyway. None of the SC-mount wides will.
I think the 35/2.5 is made in Contax Mount. It would be expensive to buy an Amedeo adapter for it.
The Canon 35/1.5 is an option, will run $600 or so. It is single-coated.
I have the Cosins/Voigtlander 35/1.7, which is multi-coated and will be very close "t-Stop" wise to the Canon 35/1.5. It will cost less, and is probably sharper. It is better than my Canon 35/2.

... that's why I said that I was unsure about it.

I was thinking of such possibilities.

I had the CV 35mm f1.7 and sold it. Had the Canon 35mm F2, just sold that, I needed more speed. Just picked up the Canon 35mm F1.5 and now I'm happy. Love it's interesting character, mine is very sharp, and no bad flare at all so far. According to Peter's Canon book, it's regarded as a sharp lens, and I agree.

Nothing wrong with the Canon 35/1.8, either, save for a bit of flare.

Watch that step!
Invest in a Canon f1.5/35 ~ you won't regret it

35mm Canons are becoming harder and harder to find I've noticed.

Was wondering if someone would mention this one... I've had 35/1.8 for a couple years...
