Anybody any experience using Bibble? I like to change to it from Lightroom because it's multiplatform and it should be the fastest RAW processing program around..
All I've heard is that it is excellent, but no personal experience. It's too bad Adobe has such a lock on photo software, at least in the USA. I get the feeling that innovation is being stifled.
There is a trial version on their web site, so I suggest you compare for yourself. For Linux there is nothing better than Bibble. I am not sure why speed should be important as long as the interactive interface is OK to use. (except if you batch process hundreds of photos each day)
yep, I have a license of Bibble 5 and while the results are superb, the interface is ugly as hell and not super intuitive. Also, there is no real library feature for managing your assets.
Ok that is mainly why i'm using Lightroom.. although the library options of LR aren't great either, i can't work without it.
I like iPhoto/Aperture because of the great library managment.. but Aperture doesn't run (normally) on my 5 year old macbook.
Maybe it's just time to buy a new Macbook 😛.
