Noctilux Photos

M9/Noct 0.95. No PP, only conversion in Lightroom 3 with 'selenium tone' preset, and slight move of black point in for contrast. No added vignetting.

Kristian, the preset development looks a bit artificial to me, but your model, setup and especially the light is amazing.
I like her eye glow in the front up portrait!

Nicely done!

Thank you. Believe me I am the last person to like special effects and PP on my images but when I selected the preset it just looked right to me, representing the feel of the image the way I saw it.

All cool Kristian - I like to be straight and hope for such comments on my pictures as well of course ;-)

sweet gears!!
Thank you John,
This is an F1 Noct with the removable hood, 60mm. Dont know the year. I love this lens. I got it for a song about 8 years ago before the prices went thru the roof. It is really hit and miss...but when it hits...it hits big. Camera is Lumix GH1. My M3 & M6 dont get much useage since I bought this camera last year. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos! Thanks for the thumbs up. Here is a pic of the lens..

nice one. I love how they are both looking at the same direction.
Are they actually cops? or just securities?

I have the E58 version. generally, I never take the hood with me. It's already big enough. Attach the hood is totally for its aesthetic appearance, imo.

yeh, doesn't it look good though? :) - it must be better physical protection for the front element than the 'built in' if you are not using a filter (as Leica recommend) - that is good too... having said that, I'm very happy with my Nocti, it makes 'other wordly' images in low light, unlike even my 75 'lux.

I scanned it with a flat bed scanner without using the tray. That's why it's not perfect. you can see the lower left corner is messed up.

This is great Anthony, not only for the symmetric poses, but also due to the vignetting being eliminated by the doorway between the shots, making this look as a real Noctilux panoramic!

Print big! Print big!
