That plain ol' D76 recipe for Tri-X/Arista Premium 400 does well: D76 1:1, 10 minutes at 68F/20C, 5 seconds easy spin agitation (Paterson reel, tank, spinner) every minute ...

Nice shots!
The 4490 does a very good job. I have had mine for about a year. You would really have to pay a lot more to get better scanning. Fast too; scanning for 30x40 cm in 360 dpi is less than 2 min. Had a Canon scanner before that took 20 min. to do the same job :bang:
