Martin, I still have those glass scanning plates of yours. I could never get them to work the way I was hoping it would.

I'm moving again right now but I will email you next week and get a good address from you to mail them to!

Hi, guys!! Hope you're having fun out there, miss you all!

Chris

hey chris, how's the states, after all?

I am playing with the thought of starting to print pictures and am looking for access to a shared darkroom in Berlin. Setting everything up in my apartment is a bit of a hassle. I could contribute an old Meopta Opemus IIa enlarger.

check your pm ;)

Today 18:15 at Hackescher Markt

Me, my wife, Simon and Tom are meeting up at Hackescher Markt today 18:15, in front of the Kilkenny Pub (from which we will be heading somewhere that gets decided on the spot.)

Finally got my film developed. Thanks again to Toni for the film.
Here's a picture of our little meetup focused on the important things ;-)

Here is one of mine from last week. Toni is in the background and the beer is NOT in focus. I had a great time in Berlin - Thanks! ... Tom

some own photos from berlin

some own photos from berlin

me and my girlfriend went there for a couple days at the start of December ... here´s some pictures I took ... the glasses and the girl reading the newspaper was at Schwarz Sauer ... the barphoto was at Alt Berlin, very dark inside there!
- The picture of the highrise (well at least 25 stories) was taken from the restaurant at the TV-tower at Alexanderplatz, in the former East-German sector .... I wonder if anybody has info on the house as I literally (almost) popped my eyes out when I saw the "footprint" of the house - isn´t that a svastika? Any info would be appreciated!

All photos with Pana LX-3, never flash ...

And I´ll be back!

If anyone needs same-day E-6, C-41 and B&W film developing and professional quailty prints visit Pixelgrain Lab on Rosenstraße 16 just off Alexanderplatz. Their film developing and prints are top-notch quality. They also stock both Fuji and Kodak professional slide films och negative films in all formats. The films are as cheap as you will find them in German internet stores and not a great deal more expensive than in the U.S.
