DIY hexanon 28mm hood

Nice thread! I got here looking for DIY vented hoods... thinking about building one for a Canon 50/0.95, as I can't find any 72mm vented hoods anywhere!

did konica/minolta make matching hoods for their M line lenses?

Yes they did. As nice as the lenses too. I'm surprised your lens didn't come with the hood. The hoods even came with their own carrying case.
