PS: I just traded my *stange* lens a WW2 era Schneider Xenon f1.5/50....but don't you have something "fast" and exotic on your IIIFRDST?
 
Leicatom - yes, I have the 5cm Zunow f1.1, and both internal and external mount Nikon 5cm f1.1 lenses. The 5 cm brightline finder would look fine with any of the lenses. Did you see my newly painted Leica IIIg black body?

Ahh yes I did.....really amazing beauty, the IIIG is the Cadillac of all LTM bodies.

How does that Zunow render? I've seen the Nikkor and it's fine, has that Nikkor Glow......just wish I could find a really fast one that's got more of a Sonnar signature to it, that's what I'm hooked on that Sonnar style!

I like the f0.95 Canon 50mm, but prices are unrealistic for what the lens is really worth, my fastest lens now is a Canon f1.2/50 and it draws almost the same as the f0.95 does, just not as enough push at night time, but it's an amazing lens, in color or black n white and has about the same DOF and bokeh of the f0.95 just $1,500 cheaper......

I still want a Summilux f1.4/50 Ver 2 for that "fast" Dreamy Leica look.....I never cared for the signature the Nocitlux gives, but that VC f1.2/35mm has a really nice signature (looks vintage) when used on a M8/M9 - and prices just went up, that's another really nice "fast" one.

The photos used as background fodder didn't give any clue, either. Maybe there's some legal slipnot preventing them from naming names.

Hello Tom

The Zunow renders beautifully. I was worried about it because Zunows (I learned after buying it) have a characteristic degradation - the internal coating, on the lens behind the iris, degrades and looks like someone has taking sand paper to the glass.

Mine has this "signature", and I was worried whether it would take soft photos only.

But it images just fine - compares the same as the 50mm f1.2 Noctilux.

Thank you. I'm confused why they are selling an M3 as Black Paint when it's clearly not on the list and has chrome strap lugs.
