www.saltblock.tumbler.com You cannot resist being mesmerized by the eye of this young photographer. His presentation on Tumbler combining images and music moves photography into a new level. Get in on the ground floor folks, this is special!

You've got about 30 minutes to "move photography to a new level." Then you are yesterday's news. I don't see anything special in these images.

Plenty of good shots in there, not a bad photographer by any means. Though pretty standard street stuff.
Also, how do we know this is a young photographer? I don't see any details of who this person is anywhere, not the best way to market yourself IMO.

Full disclosure about the Saltblock photographer; he is a friend of a family member. I met him a couple of times 8-10 years ago, I never have had a conversation with him. I just think he has an uncanny ability to express in a picture what you can't actually see in the picture, if that makes any sense. In this age of millions of technically sophisticated photographs of inanimate objects, be they buildings or trees or people, it's exciting to me to see a new photograph that illuminates the script of life behind it.

I hope Saltblock is his internet nick, not his real name.
What camera he uses? Is he a film shooter or a digital artist?

You're right. This makes no sense at all. Sorry.

Some nice stuff there. But, let down by the 'blog' design format.
[BTW, Flickr has better shooters than does RFF. And with more 'meager' gear.]

Some good shots for sure. The let down was the razzadazzle set-up of the OP

Nothing against the photographer. His work is decent. Nothing extraordinary and not my cup of tea but it's not bad.
I can understand if someone likes the work but "moving photography into a new level"? Are you serious? If anything his style is rather old fashioned and combining music with photography isn't new either.

Film is the other way
some shots caught my interest but it's really hard to tell what this photographer is about with only 10+ images on a blog. Come back after he has a body of work and that is when you can get an idea of where his head is.
Meantime he should keep shooting. I don't care what kind of camera he uses I don't find it too material as a criterion.
