The Mexican Suitcase

Just saw the exhibit over the weekend. The book looks great, but it was kind of bulky to schlep back to DC.

Only 90 bucks on Amazon (USA): http://www.amazon.com/Mexican-Suitcase-Cynthia-Young/dp/3869301414/

IIRC, however, although the Steidl site describes it as hardcover, the version for sale @ the ICP appeared to be 2 softcover volumes that fit into a hard sleeve.

I think it was originally intended as a hardcover at $240. The ICP told me it has only been published as a softcover at $98. The sleeve is not hard BTW, it's barely thicker than one of the book pages. Fairly useless unfortunately, I've had to repair mine already. The book is well worth having though.

Thanks, that's good to know about the sleeve. I perused the sample volumes @ the ICP store, but didn't handle the sleeve.
