I thought it was a magnifier!

I bought that item was a magnifier but it turns out to be a mask!

Is there a magnifier that would be a great companion to the telephoto lenses.

Mohammed, joke aside there are many tele viewfinders available, either standalone or turret. The original Zeiss ones are very expensive. A classic model is the Zeiss 440 with 21,35,50,85,135 (correct me if I'm wrong fellow RFFers) finders. You can also use finders from other brands.

I know about the finders but I'm looking at magnifier that will be a great focus aid!

I remember there was an attachment to the window of the viewfinder but I forgot where I saw it:bang:

Yes.....sorry I couldn't make it easier from the first post "not native English speaker!"

I'm not aware of any diopter for the Contax IIa/IIIa, you could look for this thread but nothing much there... http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=72383

I have one and this one is not complete...... Seems like that the eyepiece is missing.
