A friend at work has a Bell & Howell Filmo 70 DL film camera that takes 16 mm film. As he's leaving the country and knows I like cameras, he gave it to me in a whatever-money-I-get-for-it-we-split sort of deal. I found a manual for it and as best I can tell it all works fine. It's tempting to keep it as I like playing with it, but it would never see any real use.
It is a
Filmo camera model 70 DL (from 1950's...?)
Fully operative as best I can tell.
There is an empty spool in the camera.
Attached is a brown leather strap for handholding the camera.
Comes with three lenses:
Bell & Howell Super Comat 1in f/1.9
Bell & Howell Super Comat 0.75in f/2.5
Bell & Howell - Angénieux 3in f/2.5 (this one has a lens cap)
All lenses seem in good shape, relevant viewing lenses are also attached!
And that's it, no box, manual etc.
So questions - what can anyone tell me about it? Is it worth anything/much? Where else might I ask these questions? Ebay doesn't have much, but suggests the camera itself may not be worth much, but potentially the 3in lens is. And of course, if anyone is interested...
Thanks for any information!
