A while ago I bought an old Kodak Sterling II in near mint condition for next to nothing at a car boot sale. I put it aside with the intention of doing something with it when I had time (as you do). I got it out this morning and I had forgotten that there was an exposed roll of film inside. Kodacolor 620 film C-41 process. Back when I bought the camera I had never done C-41 and didn't have the chemistry so I just left the film in there. Now I have and I've got to try developing it.
It looks quite old by the look of the yellow leader but I have no idea how old it is, how it has been stored or even if it was exposed properly. Bearing this in mind should I make any adjustments to the normal C-41 process ? Any other advice before I start ? Am I wasting my time and chemicals even trying ?
I have very little experience with C-41 so any input would be appreciated.

Simply process it. C41 push or pull does not always have the expected and desired results even with fresh film - you don't want to do that on an old film of unknown condition without prior tests. Which you can't, as you only have one roll.

I've had three found rolls of C41 film developed. One was utterly blank, one came out in the most astonishing yellow and red tones, and the third was a bit grainy, and was very dull photos of old folk on holiday sometime in the late 1970s. SO you may well get something off it. Give it a go!

I've developed a 1993 roll that was taken by MYSELF using what used to be my mom's olympus trip 35. 15 exposures roll, I could date it after it came back from the lab and I recognised the place and the people: it was a field trip with school. I realised I was a terrible photographer when I was 10.
i developed normally, no pushing nor pulling. of the entire roll, only 3 shots could be visible, as I opened the back of the camera having no idea there would be film inside... which is a shame. the other two photos are also in my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/umcelinho/3923715348/in/photostream/

Many thanks for the replies. I developed the film but there was only one image on it which looks like maybe part of a window frame. Nothing really recognisable. The rest of the roll was unexposed. Never mind - at least I managed to develop it ok.
