Here's some images from my trip to Kathmandu, Nepal, in early March. Its so rich of interesting subjects to shoot, and I barely scratch the surface of this beautiful country.

That last shot, the child in the hat, is a belter ... and the policeman isn't too shabby either

Great stuff - takes me back to my trip in the early 1990's
So much to see & do - I hardly captured anything on film compared to the mental images i still have filed away

Thanks guys, it was such a wonderful experience to visit and shoot Nepal. I already plan to come back and see other parts of the country. Here's a few more.

Hey Nicky, yeah, learning to shoot from the hip doing low angle with the 15mm. Got to use a borrowed 28 cron ASPH as well. Great lens, not sure if I can afford it though.

nice photos. I was there also few months ago, and agree, once you walk out from the door the details are almost overwhelming at first, its so different.
am also already planning to go back at some point
perhaps go Bhutan as well.
edit. what gear you used on your trip ?

Thanks Jarno. Bhutan would also be really interesting, although a bit more expensive than Nepal to visit.
I used M8 and M6 TTL with CV 15, 28 cron , 50 lux pre ASPH and 90 elmarit. The images above we're taken with the M8. I'll post the film shots later.

Great photos.. Interesting, b&w digital and color film. I'm new to color slide film, but the low sun and the slide film really are a great combination.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Here's a few more.
One thing I noticed in Kathmandu is the heavy police and military presence throughout the capital. I guess its understandable for a country recovering from a prolonged civil war.
