Has decent reviews. I just bought 125 sheets of 4x5 as well. I dont think it isin the same ballpark as tri x but I do think it is as good or better than formapan and arista EDU for a bunch less money is we buy a lot. $1.90 a roll is cheap!

I just bought a big brick of tri x but when playing with some of my crappy cameras and projects this stuff make sense.

Hmmm...just ordered 4 rolls of Arista Premium 400ISO (36 Exp.)... I have been told it is the same as TriX. How can that be? 😕The price from Freestyle is $2.19.😀

Hope it is the same...that is a fraction of TriX prices!🙂
 
Arista Premium IS tri-x. THey buy a parent roll from Kodak and have it labeled with their own brand. if you commit to buying 52,000 rolls - Kodak will do it for you too. It could be called "Lackey Film"
 
The GP3 (in 120 format) has a terrible curl that is impossible to remove, which makes handling difficult. I have half a dozen rolls in the fridge still after several years. The backing paper is rough and the film is often poorly attached to the backing. Some of mine have jammed in the camera. I use it only it for shutter and magazine tests. IMHO and YMMV.
 
I've shot and DIY processed several rolls of this and have had good results. My home humidity level -- not bone dry -- seems to agree with GP3, so no problems with curl. It's a very pretty emulsion for use in an old-timey TLR or folder. The backing paper hasn't been a problem, but the faint grey-white on black frame numbers are barely visible thru red window winders. One also has to remember to have tape or rubber bands handy because the paper tab used for sealing the exposed roll has no stickum on it. D'oh. Still, I like the looks of this film, but if you look you can often find Fuji 100 or 400 online for a about buck more a roll. I use 'em all.
