Does anyone know what ISO the Olympus Stylus ∞ defaults to if it does not have a DX code to read? I cannot find this information anywhere! Thanks.

It says in the manual it will default to ISO 100 if no DX code.

IIRC that is the expected default behaviour by DX definitions.

I think you are right, I've never heard of a camera defaulting to any other ISO. I just scanned the page from the manual where this is clearly detailed. This is posted for completion's sake and to end this thread with a definitive answer. 😀

Out of curiosity checked manuals of some compacts and discovered Konica Off-Road 28 defaults to ISO25.

In studying the manuals of several P&S's I own, it seems some are 100 and some are 25.
