Tetenal C-41 Press Kit's discontinued?

Does anyone know if TetenalC-41 Press Kit for Color Negative Film (Powder) has been discontinued? What is the alternatives if this is accurate? Unicolor?

It would be a shame if so.
Is your question based on Freestyle inventory because BH Photo has it in stock right now.
The tetanol website says nothing about this.
 
What makes you ask the question? As t.s.k. notes, it's not in the Freestyle inventory, but I've been shopping at Freestyle since Dec. '09 and can't recall them carrying the Tetenal at any point in time. They always have the Unicolor, which as far as I know, is virtually the same stuff - if not completely.
 
The 500ml "press" POWDER kits may have been gone for half a decade - since about 2005 all those which I purchased had a expiration date in late 2008. The 1l liquid kits still are being made, now named Colortec (I've no idea whether because of a brand name consolidation or because they now utilize the same chemistry as the minilab liquid chemistry).
 
You mentioned alternatives in the original post, I'm currently waiting on a 2.5L Rollei kit from Macodirect. It seems very reasonably priced I've heard goods things about the chems. Separate bleach and fix. They have smaller quantities too.

I've been waiting for some time, they didn't inform me until 3 weeks or more after I ordered that they were out of stock and reordering. It took some further time for their order to arrive.

Now I'm waiting on bloody DHL, who seem to be about the slowest international shipping method I know to get something to New Zealand. We struggle with them weekly at work, now I'm finding out for myself!

But hopefully the chemicals are good :)

I asked because I was looking at an auction listing that indicated that the 1liter kits are discontinued. Could be the person listing the auction was misinformed or trying to drum up a sale.
 
Side question here (I'm going to hijack my own thread). If I'm using one of the larger Jobo canisters that can accommodate two rolls of 120, even if I'm just doing one roll, I'll have to be sure the canister is filled completely when developing correct? In other words, if I'm just doing one roll, I can't fill say half way can I?

For inversion, you only need to fill it to the level given for one roll - more does not harm, and filling it completely may be advisable when doing colour as it will keep temperature longer that way. For rotation you will always have to fill it to the regular volume for the tank size (which is around 1/4 of that for inversion.)

It is for color and this is for inversion technique. So I should fill the tank completely then.
