while in Hong Kong I saw a display model of this DIY Twin Lense camera. Since my first medium format experience was/will be for a while, with a Holga 120, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this seeming also plastic camera, but with the added fun of assembling it all by oneself? I was ready to buy it, but was told they were out, and the display model is broken. I looked and saw the lense floating loose inside. http://www.pickegg.com/wholesale/pr...reflex-rollfilm-camera-black.html?welcome=254

Thanks! That looks good! Was it difficult to put together? Please let us know when you have put film through it, too.

Hi, I have the original Gakkenflex which came with book/magazine...it's easy to assemble...came with a screwdriver ...my grandson and I did it...best left on infinity as I can't really see the focus screen..some folks have installed a real mirror for that reason..the film wind is at best not accurate but works....the first roll was so/so....but being a toy camera fan I loaded up some today...there are modifications on the web for installing a cable release ...I say buy one and have a bit of fun...there are worse things to pee away your money on...regards,bill
