Hello all, I just joined this forum because I love looking at the work you all produce :]
However, I am not a very Rangefinder/Film guy; I have looked through a broken Canonet once or twice and have never shot film in my life; my camera is the antithesis of the entire RF philosophy, but please don't ban me
Still, I have a love for a solid 50mm f/1.4 with beautiful bokeh like the rest of you

Nice rig. Why don't you borrow a film camera and take some photos.
What could it hurt?

My dads old OM1 is now mine, mine mine!!!!
Hey great stuff. I reversed the process, have my son's OM-10 cleaned the fungus from 2 of his lenses which started my obsession with OM. Now have 2 OM-2, OM-10, OM-20, looking for a good OM-1. Im 78 !.
BTW I prefer the OM to Leica in film, mainly use digital now.

My (new to me) Olympus OM4. I bought it as-is from KEH in UG condition. Everything seems to be working as it should (running a test roll though it now). The only problem is the flash shoe needs tightened a bit (prevents flash from making good contact in some positions) Price $23.00!

3 from 36 on a good day.
Recent aquisition: Mint Nikon FE. Only four rolls ever went through it. No scratches. Lens is a used series E 50mm f1.8 that the previous owner included with the sale.

This is one of my favourite cameras. I get so many admiring glances at it. Many of you can relate I'm sure.
Olympus OM2n with Zuiko 50mm f1.4 with matching metal hood.
Ps: Does anyone have a hotshoe they want to sell that's not cracked?

I really enjoy working with this guy, though mine unfortunately has dead electronics. I'll get it repaired someday.

They sure look nice, don't they? It's too bad that they are all broken.

Received my second early-type Nikkormat FTn today. It came with a Nikkor-HC 50/2.0 lens attached.
I had to work it for a while to free up slower speeds, and the seller had graciously included 25 years of dust on the camera with the package.
The 'firstborn' FTn has its Nikkor-P 10,5cm 2.5 almost welded to it, so I had an excuse to get me another one!
The second son has a Nikkor-S 58mm 1.4 and lens hood coming from the US.
These big boys are black paint on brass, have early style film levers, meters work and they are dented.
I love 'em!

I picked this up at a garage sale today for $10. It is nice and shiny, with a working light meter and new seals. Someone loved this old Praktica, I believe.
It also came with an Auto Sears MC 35/2.8 that looks like it has never been used:
which works nicely on the Yashica TL Electro X (with a clean Yashinon DS 50/2) that was also part of the deal:
Also in the box was this Hanimar "Auto S" 135/2.8. I have no idea what a Hanimar is. But it has a built in lens hood. Woo Hoo.
