Just sold my R-D1s about one hour ago to a local RF fan.
I often wonder about the RD-1 and why it's files are so damned nice. The OP's images are some of the best digital black and whites I've seen.
And it does colour in it's own unique way too IMO.
Thank you guys for the kind words. I loved R-D1s, it was great tool. Low profile and easy to use. When I took pictures on the street, people usually don't pay attention on me.
Now I need to tape out the Leica and M9 signs so I don't attract too much attention.
For digital they look very nice on the monitor. I'm curious about how they print, as I have not had much success w/ that from digital files. I suspect the lens Bu11dog used was the reason for the good files. A Leica, one would presume.
