Photographer VIDEO Profile: Craig Semetko on the M9/MP and his work

He's a great guy and we think alike so I like him even more! No seriously, he's only been shooting for a short time and already has an incredible body of work. I just had to do this video.

I saw his work at the Leica gallery in manhattan. Really fantastic work. Very engaging and humorous.

I gotta get his book....

His work on his website looks kind of interesting but the video showed him taking all these cheap shots. He seems like a really nice guy with great gear =)

Wow--so here I am browsing rangefinder forum and land on a link about...me! A little disconcerting...but in a good way:) Glad you guys liked the video--Kristian did a great job with it. We only had an hour or so on a Sunday afternoon to shoot it, so the shots we got were limited, but the point was really more instructional than to get great shots. We all know the time, effort, preparedness, and luck involved in getting a great picture, and it's hard to make all those come together in an hour or so while being videotaped:)

Thanks everyone for your kind comments on the work and thanks Kristian for making it happen! And I'd be happy to answer any questions if I can.

Cheers,

Craig

Interesting stuff. I am glad I was able to get back to my Leica gear because with the advent of digital and where I travel, film became a problem. So the M9 has done it for me. I would love to shoot B/W film but I can't stand anyone else developing it, even though there are some good labs.

Enjoyable video, thanks for posting it.

What a fun video! Thanks for posting it. And thanks to Craig for making it.
I just got another 20 rolls of HP5. Time to load up the MP and have some fun!!!

Hey guys, I'm so glad the video inspired you to get out and shoot! That's what it's all about, right? Thanks again for looking and keep pushing the shutter! take care, craig
