Which camera would be best for me.

I'm not really sure where to place this so I'm taking a chance on this thread. I have about a dozen Konica AR lenses ( Konica or Vivitar), a couple Tessars for my Exakta, and Leica LTM and M's. Now, what I would like to know is which of the mirrorless cameras would allow me, with an adapter, to mount these lenses and be able to focus close and to infinity and automatically. Any suggestions, thanks for any input. If no mirrorless fit the bill any camera that could accomplish this? 🙂

i don't think any of them will do automatic, but they all should do infinity just fine and, i bet, even macro.

if i were buying today, i'd probably go with a NEX, but i really liked my panny G1 too. the software/UI seems better in the G1 (i have no direct NEX experience) but the NEX has a bigger sensor and is smaller.

Frank, that is a great idea, the M2 is probably the best solution for my LTM and M's. So that now just leaves the Konica AR lenses and I do have a Konica T2.

I don't believe any camera will auto-focus adapted lenses. But you can get adaptors for all your lenses for micro 4/3rds or NEX cameras.
If you wanted to just "test the waters" to see if concept works for you, a Panasonic G1 body only can be had very cheaply these days, and is a very capable camera.

A work colleague has the Panasonic G1, which he uses with a number of older 35mm film manual-focus camera lenses, including Nikkors and Olympus Pen optics.

He likes the G1 viewfinder and rates it higher than the accessory electronic viewfinder that he has for his Panasonic GF1.

I've taken a look through both, and I agree that the G1 viewfinder is better than that of the GF1.

I'll address the Konica AR portion of your question.
I am also a fan of these gems, which, until m4/3rd and NEX, requires mount modifications to adapt.

Any of the mirrorless cameras out there will be able to use these lenses given the availability of adapter. I use these with my E-P2.

Here's what my setup looks like:

That lens is the Hexanon UC 80-200mm f/4. Yes, it's a zoom, one of only two zoom lenses that I kept because of the quality 🙂

This one is interesting, using the Konica adapter and a special ring (made before digital era), I can mount old Nikon F lenses, saving me from having to purchase another adapter.
