two from paolo bonello, at the carnival. late afternoon, great environment, well executed. i love both of these. the bunny has all the creepy-carny in it, and the bubbles are glorious and grainy and dreamy. the bunny is my pick of the week.

nikonsnapper. an amazingly intimate moment, and i'm having a hard time understanding how he didn't freak having someone hovering over his shoulder with a camera. maybe he was busy with his pre-jump chill. oh, and it's beautiful to look at too.
hteasley. with the exception of the two very modern signage details, this would seem to be suspended in time for the last hundred years or so. beautiful grain, great lines, well exposed in a tough environment.
lynn's nightswimmers. i loved the dreamy beach ones too. this is a great series, but this was my favorite of them. the water is inviting, but i know it's cold. it's tranquil, but the splash at the front isn't. it's alien to swim in the ocean at night under hills, but we've all been in a pool.
tennessejones. at first i lol'd, then i was like wut? this one kept me on it for a while. very good.
paulfish - very intimate capture. delicately lit. well composed. beer, please, bartender.
