Just saw this new post from what looks like a legitimate ebay seller. . .but it indeed is a classic example of a good profile hacked and being exploited by an ebay scammer.

He's selling hundreds and hundreds (thousands probably by now) of high priced items on ebay, with the same $1500 email-him-buy-it now special price. Classic example of an ebay scammer. Anyway, I'm sure its pretty obvious to those who do online transactions,but for anyone else just make sure to report the listing to ebay and avoid the "2-good-to be true price" when the listing points you to pay outside of ebay.
Hope they stop them soon
