the new f2a works like a champ

ran a 24-exp roll of kodak ultramax (thanks Brian) today and had it processed at walgreens. meter is dead on. le bete (the beast) works and works and works. shot another roll at this evening's hot-air balloon festival event. shot the 50/2 this morning. the E series 35/2.5 got the afternoon/evening work. pics as soon as i can.

That F2a is a late run- 80' Serial Number.

another pic, which illustrates why i wanted a cam with 100 percent viewfinder. i could not avoid the shadow of the shed's roof peak at the top and keep the lock in the frame, so a little cropping was in order. i got exactly what i was wanting in the frame.

It starts like this. First it's a innocent little tipple of a bit of Leica iiif,
then a bit of something stronger....like a F2a, so what the heck maybe a F3, then a F4s (because they are just so good and so cheap), ooooops, then we see a really great little M2, for really next to nothing....(and why not? It's only money) .........

Then we start to see you searching out thrift stores and cameras stores with that hopeful look in your eye, trying to start up a conversation just in case you can score that F2AS you've been needing......."Just one more, then I'll quit for sure!"
