iI use Foma's RO9 with Efke films, also Plus-X, but mainly with the "old school" stuff like Efke. At 1+40 it's great with KB25. I use the Massive Dev Chart's times & it works great. For the "modern" films, especially the flat-crystal ones, I use modern "Rodinal". PanF+ is good, too.

Rodinal / R09 one shot is the original stuff from the former Agfa plant.
It's best fitting with slow- and medium speed classical/cubical type films. Depending on sharpness and contrast: 1+25 - 1+50 or 1+100.

I have used it a lot with Rollei Retro 100 and Formapan 100 at 1:50 and gives good sharp results
As Fotohuis says it IS Rodinal

So this stuff is actually the original Rodinal, then? I used Rodinal extensively in the 1990's - would this be the same stuff as that?
And I don't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to clarify exactly which iteration of Rodinal the 09 is.

Rodinal:
From IG Farben to
Agfa (after WWII)
From Agfa to
Agfa - Gevaert (1964)
From Agfa - Gevaert to
Agfa Photo (2004)
From Agfa Photo (bankrupted 2005/2006) to
A&O
From A&O to
CPP&S (2008)
The actual owner (an UK company) is still producing on the chemical plant in Vaihingen-Enz, Germany. However the trade name "Rodinal" can not be used anymore hence R09 one shot. Compard in Hamburg is doing all packings for R09 one shot (and a lot of more chemicals). They are more or less connected to Rollei-Maco (also Hamburg) who is doing the distribution.
